3. IEs usually have broader view of the organization. For example, design a product, and IE would use her or his creativity to design a production system to manufacture the product.
4. Industrial Engineering is more management-oriented than other engineering disciplines. Consequently, Industrial Engineering is more people-oriented.
5. Industrial Engineering is a gateway to entrepreneurship. Also, more upward mobility in an organization.
6. Industrial engineering provides a good background for other fields; e.g., law, medicine.
